Visit Fishing Republic Edinburgh, located at 65 WEST HARBOUR ROAD, a stone's throw away from the habour. Based inside the GO Outdoors, the store has parking available and is open 7 days a week 09:00-20:00 Monday to Friday with varied opening hours on the weekend.

Our Edinburgh store is renowned for its excellent customer service with our dedicated, knowledgeable Edinburgh team on hand to answer all your questions on fishing and guide you through our gigantic collection. We also have live bait available now in-store, offering exceptional freshness.

What fishing locations are available?

Granton Habour is a stone's throw from our Edingburgh store, making it an excellent option to go fishing straight from stocking up at our shop. Ideal for summer fishing, the pier offers stunning views over the sea and a magnitude of fishing species including crabs. Clubbiedean Trout Fishery is also in close proximity to the shop, offering excellent fishing for the entire family. Permits at the fishery can be bought for £15 a day and there is a wide variety of boats for hire. Parking is available close to the loch with wild brownies, double-figure rainbows, and blue trout all in residence. Each location may have rules and regulations that differ in regard to permits and seasonal restrictions, and it is highly recommended research is conducted before any visit.
